As you know, much has been made of the Ego's refusal to acknowledge negative comments about himself on the Baseball Nerd blog (or elsewhere for that matter) to the point of deleting them which really offends the right-wing's sense of entitlement to spew hate. Get a clue guys, The Ego is not here to be used as a vehicle for your little hate speech. The Ego exists solely to be loved, adored, admired, praised, you get the general drift by now, I'm sure. And if you don't what the hell is taking you so long in getting it? Worship The Ego people. That's all the Ego asks. How can you best fawn at and fall down on your knees in worship of The Ego? I'm glad you asked. I think that Chris Matthews gives you a general idea how it's done here. Atta boy Chris.

Egospeak deciphered

So the Ego has been "under the weather". As you know, it's "flu/allergy" season. For the slow amongst you, let Keith Olbermann's Ego put it into simple language you can understand: it's Baseball Season. There are two new baseball parks in NYC. The Ego lives in NYC. Do the math people.

You expect a new post every day?

Please people. It's baseball season! The Ego has priorities and responsibilities. There are not one, but count 'em, two new baseball parks in NYC. It is vital for the sake of baseball history that The Ego be present at each and every game (or as many as possible). Priorities people, priorities. The Ego has them. You need to respect The Ego's priorities. Better yet, come join the Ego at a game or two. Oh right, you poor bastards can't afford the kind of seats the Ego laid out major coin for. Guess you'll just have to read about it at the Baseball Nerd's blog huh? Suckers. And we don't mean the kind Katy is chewing on here either.

Alec Baldwin rethinks insulting Keith Olbermann

Keith Olbermann's Ego is very happy to see that Alec Baldwin has rethought statements he made that were less than flattering about Keith Olbermann. While Alec has quite the Ego, The Ego's Ego is bigger, natch.

Lou Dobbs is a Big, Fat, Idiot

Lou Dobbs is an idiot. There, Keith Olbermann's Ego said it. Lou Dobbs actually had the nerve to say this about the Ego:
He’s got such a hard time adjusting his medication, he has no idea what he’s doing. He’s a left-wing hack!… What happened to moderation, to credibility?”
The Ego refuses to even dignify Mr. Dobbs allegations with a response except to say that Lou has been steadily melting down along with the economy and can't get the public to care about his favorite issue anymore, namely, illegal immigrants.

Keith Olbermann: The TV Series

Entertainment Weekly has a great idea. In an open plea for Aaron Sorkin (genius behind The West Wing, A Few Good Men, Sports Night, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip) to come back to primetime television, it mentions that Sorkin is reportedly kicking this idea around:
Word is that Sorkin is mulling over the idea of a new TV drama that takes a behind-the-scenes look at a cable news program (think: Keith Olbermann's show on MSNBC).
As every devoted Keith fan knows, The Ego has served as source material for Sorkin's genius before. Hey Aaron--you gotta know that Keith Olbermann's Ego would give you some excellent (free) PR for that one.

What will be Keith Olbermann's Special Announcement Tonight?

So The Ego has announced that there will be a very special announcement tonight on Countdown that will be "worth it". But to whom? Why Keith Olbermann's Ego of course. Because if it is of interest to the Ego, it's of interest to everyone right?

Did any of you get it? Yeah, that's right, Little Eddie Schultz is getting his own TV show in the 6pm hour. Note: Not in prime time. You know what the Ego likes best about this? That compared to Eddie-Boy, The Ego looks slim, young, and even more handsome.
