Keith Olbermann's Ego needs Diversions

Sunday marked the one-year anniversary of Keith Olbermann's father's death. Here you can see The Ego Twit dispensing advice on how to move past the death of a loved one. Diversions. Yes. Diversions. Like these Twitter Friends of Keith Olbermann.

Now we're not saying that all of these lovely ladies are "dear friends" of the Ego's like Katy Tur but you can bet a lot of them would like to be. Luckily for them, Keith Olbermann's Ego loves nothing better than "diversions".

The Ladies Love Keith Olbemann's Ego

and the Ego loves himself them too. And that's why Keith Olbermann's alter-ego's ego (?) on Aaron Sorkin's new HBO series, modeled 100% after your very own Ego will be a ladies man and then some. Isn't that right Erin?
The Daily got its hands on the still-untitled script, which Sorkin researched by spending time with Olbermann before the newsman ditched MSNBC for Current; here, the Olbermann stand-in is named "Will McAllister," and he's a network-taunting liberal who likes the ladies. In fact, the show opens with McAllister returning from a sexy St. Lucia vacation with ESPN's Erin Andrews, only to find — in a twist that will surprise no one who has watched an Aaron Sorkin show before — that his show's new executive producer is his former love Mackensie McHale.
According to the Daily, in the pilot episode we learn that Keith Olbermann Will McAllister has alot of hate-filled email and a reputation of being difficult to work with, even asking, "Are you telling me that Bin Laden is easier to work with than me?" Sounds like the Ego we all know and love right ladies?

Chain Keith Olbermann's Ego?

Who the hell does Al Gore think he is? I mean sure the guy has an Oscar and a Nobel Prize and was the Vice-President but come on, telling Keith Olbermann to chain The Ego (in all its greatness) at the door of Current TV?
The ex-MSNBC'er has been told to chain up his considerable ego at the door."No doubt Al is very happy to have Keith join his network," one Current TV insider tells me. "Yet Keith is a double-edged sword. He'll attract a huge amount of media and viewers to the network, but let's be honest, he's a total pain in the ass to deal with."
Obviously, Al does not understand that the Ego is what makes Keith Olbermann, THE Ego. This does not bode well for either Keith Olbermann or The Ego.

Keith Olbermann's Ego Exits Stage Left

It's a wrap. After eight tumultuous years on air at MSNBC, Keith Olbermann's Ego exits, stage Left.
MSNBC and Keith Olbermann have ended their contract. The last broadcast of "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" will be this evening. MSNBC thanks Keith for his integral role in MSNBC's success and we wish him well in his future endeavors.
There's a certain implied "Don't let the door hit you on your ass" in that statement, no?

Television has never been known for its gratitude however, and the Comcast effect must already be in place at MSNBC for The Ego to exit so quickly after they took over.

This blog has snarked on Keith's world-famous Ego for the last couple of years. We've had some good laughs at his expense and we thank him for never suing his for it. While not always thrilled with the bravo and bluster, and while we could have done without some of his excesses and obsessions, we now end our relationship, such as it was, as a fan.

Good luck to Keith Olbermann's and his world-famous Ego in all that he does from this point forward and thank you for being a voice in the wilderness for the eight years. So here's a song in your honor, Mr. Olbermann.

Keith Olbermann's Ego will Live Forever

Many people admire the Ego's physique (aka "more to love") and now the Ego has proof that his preferred workout method leads to a longer life. Sez so right here.
Frankfurt, Germany, December 6 -- A rather bizarre study carried out by German researchers suggests that staring at women's breasts is good for men's health and increases their life expectancy.

According to Dr. Karen Weatherby, a gerontologist and author of the study, gawking at women's breasts is a healthy practice, almost at par with an intense exercise regime, that prolongs the lifespan of a man by five years.

She added, "Just 10 minutes of staring at the charms of a well-endowed female, is roughly equivalent to a 30-minute aerobics work-out."

A five-year research on 500 men Researchers at three hospitals in Frankfurt, Germany did an in-depth analysis of 200 healthy males over a period of five years. Half the volunteers were instructed to ogle at the breasts of women daily, while the rest were told to refrain from doing so.

At the close of the study, the researchers noted that the men who stared at the breasts of females on a regular basis exhibited lower blood pressure, slower resting pulse rates and lesser episodes of coronary artery [a blood vessel that carries oxygenated blood away from the heart to the body.] disease.

Sexual desire linked to better blood circulation The researchers declared that sexual desire gives rise to better blood circulation that signifies an overall improved health.

Weatherby explained the concept stating, "Sexual excitement gets the heart pumping and improves blood circulation. There's no question: Gazing at breasts makes men healthy.

"Our study indicates that engaging in this activity a few minutes daily cuts the risk of stroke and heart attack in half. We believe that by doing so consistently, the average man can extend his life four to five years."

In addition, she also recommended that men over 40 should gaze at larger breasts daily for 10 minutes.

The Ego will never die.
