Requiescat In Pace

RIP Marie Olbermann. Donations in her memory can be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation and/or St. Judes Children's Hospital.

Interesting.

Requiescat "a prayer for the repose of a dead person."

Requesccat in pace "may he or she rest in peace--used on tombstones."

Odd, but appropriate.

So if his Mom was dying why was he at the Yankees exhibition games on Thursday & Friday of last week? Weird.

I can't decide who is a bigger asshole, KO for attending a baseball game and showing up for work instead of mourning his mother or the asshole who writes this blog and thinks that using Latin terms makes them so much smarter than everyone else.

That's because you obviously don't know any Latin "anonymous" which would make you an uneducated asshole unlike the Ego who has a degree from Cornell. The least you could do is look it up and educate yourself like Marinara.

My symathies to the entire Olbermann family for their loss. (Although, if Olbermann wore a long grey wig, he would look exactly like her).

The clip he played interviewing his mom from his Fox days was startling. I assumed he was from a very well off family (Dad an architect, grew up in Westchester, went to private toney High School), but his mother looked and sounded downright working class. Just from that little clip, you can sort of see why he's kinda screwed up, or exhibits extreme emotional arrested development.
