Egospeak deciphered

So the Ego has been "under the weather". As you know, it's "flu/allergy" season. For the slow amongst you, let Keith Olbermann's Ego put it into simple language you can understand: it's Baseball Season. There are two new baseball parks in NYC. The Ego lives in NYC. Do the math people.

Keith, if you don't get back to work, your ratings will sink even lower. Bad enough that they have even gone below Nancy Grace.

I know, it must be tough to choose between your ego (Countdown) and your passion (baseball).

He was so sick last night that he went to the Yankees game. I guess sick meant he's sick of work?

We all miss the ego. Thank God for Rachel. We need someone to sift through the insanty of Hannity. I have not seen Dick Cheney on tv when he was supposed Vice President. He has made more appearance these days than Ryan Seacrest.

Oh, the shame of it all. Please comeback Keith and return us our control of our television sets. The Outer Limits of the wackos that is the right wing media have taken over. Return sanity to the airwaves.

Look Mike, you seem like a nice guy and you obviously have taste and intelligence (as all the Ego's fans do automatically by their love for the Ego) but let's think about this for a minute. You say you need The Ego. But the Ego needs baseball. Guess which one is going to win out? It is all about me of course. And the sooner you realize that the better.

Well, Keith, I don’t blame you. I am too busy watching baseball to care about anything else either. I hope my Dodgers can keep up their pace, but it’s a long season and as you know, anything can happen. And being a onetime Los Angeles news guy, you know things can and will change.

Mr. Ego, think about the redundancy of your last statement. If it’s all about you, then wouldn’t you want people to enjoy the presence of the ego by broadcasting to your loyal viewers? You are stuck in your own cacophony of egoism. If you ignore us, then we can’t revel in all that is you. But, if you give in, then you can’t fill the ego on what it wants and that is baseball.

What is an ego to do?

Of course the Ego is stuck on himself. It's all about the Ego and hell to the no on having a duty to the viewers. It is in fact your duty to The Ego to allow the Ego to do what makes him happy. And baseball makes The Ego very happy indeed. That and banging much younger chicks.
