Keith Olbermann: The TV Series

Entertainment Weekly has a great idea. In an open plea for Aaron Sorkin (genius behind The West Wing, A Few Good Men, Sports Night, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip) to come back to primetime television, it mentions that Sorkin is reportedly kicking this idea around:
Word is that Sorkin is mulling over the idea of a new TV drama that takes a behind-the-scenes look at a cable news program (think: Keith Olbermann's show on MSNBC).
As every devoted Keith fan knows, The Ego has served as source material for Sorkin's genius before. Hey Aaron--you gotta know that Keith Olbermann's Ego would give you some excellent (free) PR for that one.

But the burning question is who would play your nubile girlfriend? And who oh who would play your scorned Latina ex-Miss Karma? Or Rebecca Lobo and Laura Ingram?

Who would play your mom, and your beleaguered co-workers whom you are always trying to one-up?

Keithina you must be begging for a show about you since the Jeffie twin's must have really pissed you and that pedophile ego off by having some fat white guy's show in your FABULOUS HOUR OF GREAT INSITE place. Must be why haven't allowed your seething ego to address the SLAM against the wizard of funny voice's, the dean of phoney tear's, the master of faux outrage and the QUEEN BUTT LICKER of one B HUSSEIN O by those two lowly Jeffies. HOW DARE THEY!!!!

Could someone please translate Scott's unique post into some language approaching English from the native Idiotspeak?

The Ego is thinking George Clooney to play moi. He's done tv before and he is a regular viewer of Countdown.

Olympia Dukakis--for The Ego's mom.

The Scorned Latina ex-Miss Karma would be great for Salma Hayek or Jennifer Lopez if they weren't 20 years too old for the part. So we'll have to say Jessica Alba.

Tina Fey would have been a great choice to play Katy--15 years ago. Kirsten Dunst perhaps?

The Ego has no casting suggestions to make for either Rebecca or Laura and its Ingraham, not Ingram. However the dog that Laura had that spoke in tongues could be played by that mutt Marley.

By the time this project gets from development to TV, I think Hannah Montana may be a good choice for "the beard" --oops, I mean, "girlfriend." As for George Clonney, he'll have to put all that weight back on from his Syriana days, and since he didn't show up for the ER final shows, I doubt he's really into comming back to TV.

There is this actor from "Shawn of the Dead," (dark hair and round glasses, he's a buddy of Simon Pegg and has been in his other films like "Run, Fatboy Run") who's a dead ringer for a younger Olbermann.
