Yes, the Ego-Twit is up and out of there. Except you know, for the post he made 16 hours after he announced he was leaving. So leaving equals overnight. Apparently there was fan-drama involving spelling/grammar usage, a fan who organized some sort of Mom boycott, and a 12-year old boy. The Ego really doesn't have time to dive into the particulars. I'm sure however that the minions will be more than happy to fill in the details, it's their job after all to hang on the Ego Twit's every tweet, as it should be.
Thanks to Greyfawn for the tip.

Didn't he pull this same stunt with Daily Kos until he had a Special Comment to plug? His act is getting a bit predictable at this point.
And he was back tonight, plugging away. The drama is getting old.
It's odd that Keith's reaction is to hide from the fallout and go to sleep. True, it probably was late. Still, it was as if his ego couldn't handle being seen as a jerk to a little kid and a bunch of angry tweeters. Someone should tell him that cat is out of the bag.
Anyway I heard that Rick's List with Rick Sanchez is moving to the 8 PM time slot on CNN. Odder than Keith's recent and temporary departure from Twitter is that Rick's show is eerily set up to be similar to Keith's, not that his is an original format. Some similarities though are that Rick numbers his stories and he has a segment called The List You Don't Want to Be On, which is obviously like Worst Person. He also has a fun segment called Fotos of the Day where he shows bloopers-types of clips. It's almost as if Rick is a different kind of Keith or vice versa. Or possibly Rick is a different facet of the Ego that his fans don't know about. Anyway it looks like both personalities will be on at the same time.
Guys, he said he was taking a vacation "TFN" until the drama with some others calmed down. Never said he was taking the ball and going home. Chill.
Great, tonight we'll be treated to extended eulogies for Steinbrenner and how his death impacts Keith Olbermann's Ego.
He pretty much did that, LK. How predictable.
I went to twitter to try and find the spot where Keith sort of left as you say, but it's malfunctioning at the moment and won't load a second page of tweets. Can't find any mention of this at Kos.
Good catch, Greyfawn, but damn, are you retired? I sure don't have time to pay that much attention to him.
He's still on Twitter. He even had the Ego to post this, Keith Olbermann's Ego:

Ego - congrats on the Emmy nom.
