Keith Olbermann's Ego cannot be silenced

And if the Ego wants to trash Rupert Murdoch and all things Fox, then it will be so. No matter what the suits at NBC-Universal tell him. And if the Ego does happen to stop talking about Murdoch, Fox, and BOR? It's just a coincidence, got it?

Wow Ego, I just came here to give you this story.

Pretty fascinating stuff. Olbermann claims he was not "hushed" and will not be "hushed" by his corporate masters. What is gross, is that PBS' Charlie Rose has brokered a "truce" deal with corporate CEOs who happen to control big chunks of television news. Really, if you step back from this beyond the stupid "O'Reilly vs. Olbermann fued" it's quite sickening. Here is the NY Times link:

"...Mr. Olbermann, who is on vacation, said by e-mail message, “I am party to no deal,” adding that he would not have been included in any conversations between G.E. and the News Corporation. Fox News said it would not comment.

Civility was not always the aim of Mr. Olbermann and Mr. O’Reilly, men who, in an industry of thin skins, are both famous for reacting to pinpricks. Both of them host 8 p.m. programs on cable news in studios separated by a few blocks on the Avenue of the Americas in Midtown Manhattan..."

"Both are famous for reacting like pricks."

What's wrong with being a prick? You say that like it's a bad thing.

Of course it isn't a bad thing, Keith's Ego. I don't mind you being a prick one bit. I just wanted to point out what a poor choice of words that was.
