Scarborough remains a smart-ass

I don't like Scarborough. Never have, never will. Smarmy GOP operative. Can't trust 'em. And I don't. And you know what else I don't like about him? He's a snarky, smart-mouthed, sarcastic asshole too. Witness this exchange with New York magazine:

NYM: How are things going with Keith Olbermann?
J.S.: Well, you know, I don't invite him to Thanksgiving dinner and he doesn't invite me to Thanksgiving dinner, but I think everything is fine.
NYM: Did you start bringing a shovel to work?
J.S.: Well, you know, I don't bring shovels on air when I'm quoting David Axelrod. So I was reporting and I'm still not sure what the comment meant, but I just was quoting David Axelrod. So perhaps he should present David Axelrod with a shovel and not me.

I tell you how I'd like to hit with a shovel. Good think I wasn't in St. Paul this week with this smarmy little bastard. I'm putting you on notice Pal. And that Thanksgiving Day dinner thing? You're so not invited to dine anywhere near me.

You were rude, Keith. Joe would like to hit you with a shovel for that.

Hey Keith--why did I think about you when I read this? From what we know of her so for, she meets most of the criteria:

Narcissitic Behavior: An all-pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration or adulation and lack of empathy, usually beginning by early adulthood and present in various contexts. Five (or more) of the following criteria must be met:

Feels grandiose and self-important (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents to the point of lying, demands to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)

Is obsessed with fantasies of unlimited success, fame, fearsome power or omnipotence, unequalled brilliance (the cerebral narcissist), bodily beauty or sexual performance (the somatic narcissist), or ideal, everlasting, all-conquering love or passion

Firmly convinced that he or she is unique and, being special, can only be understood by, should only be treated by, or associate with, other special or unique, or high-status people (or institutions)

Requires excessive admiration, adulation, attention and affirmation - or, failing that, wishes to be feared and to be notorious (narcissistic supply)

Feels entitled. Expects unreasonable or special and favorable priority treatment. Demands automatic and full compliance with his or her expectations

Is "interpersonally exploitative", i.e., uses others to achieve his or her own ends

Devoid of empathy. Is unable or unwilling to identify with or acknowledge the feelings and needs of others

Constantly envious of others or believes that they feel the same about him or her

Arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes coupled with rage when frustrated, contradicted, or confronted.

Or maybe you're just an asshole.

What psychiatric disorder is that? Sounds like you're describing a sociopath or perhaps a person with borderline personality disorder.

A narcissist. The article I clipped was actually about Sarah Palin but it sounds a lot like Keith doesn't it?

Now now, no need to do armchair psychiatry on me. I'm perfect. There is absolutely nothing wrong with me. Nothing. Not a thing. People love me. I am perfect. I am the most perfect broadcaster in the history of the medium. I run MSNBC. There is one me and only one me. If you don't believe me just ask my fans on Kos or anywhere on the internets. Really, you all should be posting there to admire me. In fact, I order you to do that right this very minute. Everyone at MSNBC is jealous of me and they should be because after all, I'm me, greatness personified and they aren't. Fox and CNN are all jealous of me too. As they should be. I'm better than they are no matter what the ratings say. Ratings have nothing to do with it. Absolutely nothing. It's all about greatness and clearly I'm the only one. THE.ONLY.ONE. Ratings my ass. Ratings don't count got it? Now, please admire me some more.

Yeah Keith's EGO: you're not a thing like that are you? LOL.

Where have I seen cheap psychoanalysis of Keith before? Refresh my memory. Oh yeah, a so-called "fan" group of Keith's that was anything but. Stop wasting your time and go back to whatever hole you crawled out of where you belong.

You're so upset.

For every good there must be a bad. That's the way of the world.
Not even Keith can be good all the time.

It is beneath me to belong to any fan group. It's also a waste of my immense talent, time, and energy. However, Keith's Ego demands praise and worship. Get on the same page or stop reading and go back to the hole you crawled out of. It's really that simple.

But what about Kos?

Keith Olbermann's Ego said...

Kos was not developed with the sole purpose of worshiping me. Of course they do and God do I love it, but that's besides the point. They also don't post semi-skanky comments about what they'd like to do with my ties. Okay a few of them offer to have my children but that's to be expected. Who doesn't really?
